February 18 UpdateI have had a few struggles with life and of all things the weather! Between blizzards and freezing weather it has made getting to the gym very hard we just had our 2nd blizzard in a Month so I have had to work out at home which is not easy with 3 kids in tow but I have managed to lose weight anyway wish me luck and wish me good weather I want to get back to the YMCA my exercise bike is uncomfortable and my workout tapes are getting boring!!!!! Quote Share your favorite weight loss recipes Ok weekend was a total lossWell I did not get to work out this weekend unless you count walking back & forth from my sons hospital room to the nurses desk and then to the galley to get him more juice & water. He was dehydrated from having his tonsils out a week ago and he had a infection, so they pumped him with meds and fluids and he is back to his old self.
But today is Monday yes I missed my weight in yesterday will have to make it to the YMCA to at least weight myself today going to get on my bike at home today and ride for at 30 minutes and do my exersizes on my ball and work my abs and glutes. Time to get back on track. I am proud of myself even with spending the weekend at the hospital I did not cheat!!!! I am Proud of myself. January 24 Todays workout Ok no YMCA today but did ride my exersize bike at home I
need to get a better seat on it was the most uncomfortable bike ride I have done
but did last 30 minutes on it sweat off 265.2 cals went 6.5 miles just do not
get it I ride 45 minutes at the Y last night and rode 17 miles on theRecumbent Bike
but on a stationary upright bike I get 6.5 miles. I do have to admit it easier
to ride the recumbent bike then the one I have at home and I did burn more cals
on my bike then the one at the Y. I guess size does matter (just
Kidding)........Hopefully when I weigh in Sunday I will have lost some weight
this week. I have decided to ride the bike every night rather do the Y bike but
not possible to go every night with 3 small kids.Saturday will be my one night
of rest since I work 10 hours then I am going to go watch my son fight Saturday
night. January 23 UghTell me how you lose inches and not lose pounds that just does not seem right! AM I drink way to much water or Juice? I am eating right and not cheating I am working out everyday even if its just WALKING AWAY THE POUNDS or CORE SECRETS VIDEO TAPE WITH THE BALL. i AM LOSING INCHES BUT NOT POUNDS !
Anyone have any Ideas let me know!
I am off to the YMCA again for the second time today wish me luck again....... Headed to YMCAI am headed to the ymca with my son the fighter. Pray that I make it back alive!!
My goal today is a 45 minute work out this morning then tonight I am going back to the YMCA with my Sister Suzanne who is my team mate.
will do another 45 minutes tonite......
We will be doing our weight in tonight so I will update our weight loss. Wish me luck!

I have not been to the YMCA since Friday was gonna go on Saturday but things came up. I did workout at home but just doesn't feel the same!
On Sunday we went to look at houses so no Y for me worked out again at home. Monday son was still not feeling good from his Surgery on Friday he had a T&A. So I stayed home with him, I did do my Core ball exercises and of course to nite is the BIggest Loser show so I will workout during the show. BUT TOMORROW I AM GOING TO THE YMCA FOR SURE!!!! My sister Suzanne is going with me and we will take those fun pictures so You all can see our before pictures well our 2 1/2 weeks into it pictures. ha ha ha ha KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK EVERYONE!!!!!!!! And I enjoy the messages I have been recieving the contact with everyone is supportive!!
Mary January 20 Mary's blogWednesday January 16. 2008 I went to the YMCA today and had my first real workout in 6 years. My oldest son went with me and being a professional fighter could not understand why I was complaining...... He was great he did take his time with me and made sure I was doing everything correct. I did 10 minutes on the treadmill and another 10 on the bike and of course another 10 on the Eliptical. His Comment was come on mom you can do it... Then I had to remind him I just had Knee surgery on Nov. 9th So he told me I was done for the first day. When I went in and weighted myself He had worked off 5 lbs off me.
Friday January 18th
I am headed back to the YMCA by myself tonight Because son has taught me I can do this and not be afraid to go by myself wish me luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Recipes
